"Decent Safety, Just a Bit Heavy"
The weird part is, it does feel safe and solid, which I like, but it’s also heavier than I expected. So overall, I’d say the safety is decent, just not perfect if weight matters to you...

"Not great on wet floors"
The boots look fine and all, but the grip is bad. I slipped twice on wet concrete at work, which was not fun lol. For the price, I really expected way better traction. Kinda dissapointed tbh

"Didn’t hold up very long"
I bought these a couple months ago because I needed something easy to throw on for errands and walking the dog in the mornings, and at first they seemed fine. But after about two months, the soles started splitting. I wasn’t doing anything intense in them, just normal everyday use, so I was disappointed they didn’t last longer.

The boots felt okay once I broke them in, but I'm still not totally sure how I feel about them?? They're fine for short wear, but on longer days they still feel kinda stiff.

"Sizing felt really inconsistent"
I ordered my normal size, but the fit was just odd from the start. The toe area was way too tight, while the heel felt loose, so every step had that awkward slipping-and-squeezing feeling. I kept trying to figure out the pattern, like maybe they run narrow in the front or the heel is cut differently, and I even checked the box to make sure I didn’t get the wrong size. For the price, I expected the sizing to be a lot more predictable. Ended up returning them, which was a hassle.

"Return process was a little frustrating"
Customer service was fine overall, but the return took longer than I expected. What annoyed me most was that the communication wasn’t very clear, so I wasn’t always sure what was happening or when I’d get an update

"I was expecting a lot better for..."
I was expecting a lot better for what these cost. Right out of the box the stitching looked kind of uneven, and there was glue showing on one side of the sole. After wearing them a few times, the leather started creasing in a weird way too... just didn’t feel like the Thorogood quality I thought I was paying for

"Shipping was fine, but slow as hell"
I ordered from Thorogood and the boots showed up in good shape, so no complaints there. But the shipping was kind of a pain in the ass. It took longer than I expected, and the tracking just sat there doing absolutely nothing for a few days like a useless little gremlin. Not the worst experience ever, but I definitely wish delivery had been smoother.

"Nice leather, just needed some break in time"
The leather feels really solid and thick, def better than a lot of boots I’ve owned. They were kinda stiff the first few times I wore them, but they’re starting to loosen up and feel alot nicer now. Not perfect right out of the box, but overall I’m happy with the quailty.

These boots are legit solid and they look really good, but man, the break-in took longer than I expected. The first few days they were stiff around the heel and the top of my foot, which was kinda annoying. After about a week though, they felt way better and started to loosen up. Overall I’m still happy with them, I just wish they weren’t such a pain at first...

"I really wanted to like these boots..."
I really wanted to like these boots, especially for the price. They look good right out of the box, but after wearing them a few times, I started feeling kind of trapped in them, not painfully uncomfortable, just not the easy, comfortable fit I was hoping for.
For what they cost, I expected them to feel sturdier and more worth it overall. Maybe they work better for other people, but to me it felt like I paid more for the name than the quality. I wouldn’t buy them again.
